Elaine Denton

Elaine Denton is a mom of three and passionate advocate for social equity running for Onondaga County Legislator. Growing up in Central New York on her family’s dairy farm, she learned firsthand the value of hard work and supporting those who build community from the ground up. As a Manlius Town Councilor, she used her graphic design skills to communicate issues and engage residents to participate in their government.

Elaine wants her children to live in a thriving community that knows its history, learns from its mistakes, and makes sure the promises being made today are kept. She believes our government should not be a rubber stamp. It should be about critical thinking and understanding how issues connect. Elaine would like to serve her community by passing policies that benefit and invest in as many people as possible.
