Dr. Octavia Amaechi

Dr.Amaechi is an experienced family medicine and community physician in the Upstate region of South Carolina, with over 15 years of service. A mother of three, she is passionate about improving healthcare access and education in her community. Dr. Amaechi has held leadership roles, including Chief of Medical Staff at a large hospital system, and has collaborated with educators and local leaders to address community needs.

Currently, Dr. Amaechi is a candidate for the South Carolina Senate, aiming to bring a healthcare professional’s perspective to policy-making. With her background in healthcare, leadership, and community service, she believes she is uniquely qualified to tackle challenges in her district, such as healthcare access, education, and community strength.
