Jovan Jackson

Jovan, a Las Vegas native, is deeply connected to his community. With a background in mental health and social services spanning 11 years, Jovan is also known for his entrepreneurial pursuits and advocacy work. Graduating from Desert Pines High School and later from college, he holds the distinction of being the first formerly incarcerated individual elected in a Nevada primary election.

Active in the Mass Liberation Project since 2018, Jovan’s passion for advocating for mental health and social justice led him to run for Nevada Assembly District 6. Representing the historic west side, North Town, and East Las Vegas, Jovan approaches his candidacy with unwavering determination and commitment.
