Virginia Tallent

Virginia is a seasoned public servant with a passion for driving community-focused change. In her role as Deputy City Manager for Cincinnati, she spearheads initiatives to address issues like gun violence and homelessness by collaborating with residents and stakeholders. Virginia oversees operations and strategy for Health and Human Services, managing critical departments including the 911 Communications Center and Office of Environment & Sustainability.

In addition to her responsibilities, she assists the City Manager in the oversight of the Police & Fire Departments. With a background in advocating for marginalized populations, Virginia brings a wealth of experience as a legal aid lawyer and former attorney for the City of Cincinnati. A dedicated mother of two, Virginia holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
