Sydnie Hutchinson

Sydnie, a native of North Carolina and a paralegal, is a candidate for NC House of Representatives, District 108. With an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies from Ivy Tech Community College, she has been practicing in various legal areas since 2014, including personal injury, wrongful death, family law, and workers compensation. Witnessing the impacts of legislation on communities, Sydnie decided to run for office to address existing policies that hinder community growth. Her focus is on enhancing affordable housing, supporting public education, making childcare accessible, safeguarding fundamental rights, fostering economic growth, and ensuring affordable healthcare for all citizens. Sydnie is actively involved in the Gaston County Democratic Party, serving as the Third Vice Chair, as well as the Vice President of the Gaston County Young Democrats Chapter and a member of the Gaston County Democratic Women’s Group.
