Scott has been a member of the Meridian Township Board since 2022. During his tenure, he has spearheaded initiatives such as implementing a Paid Parental Leave program, proposing the replacement of the playground at Marshall Park in Haslett, and supporting developments like Trader Joe's. He is dedicated to maintaining Meridian Township as a premier place to reside, work, and enjoy recreational activities. Scott prioritizes investing in the Police and Fire departments, enhancing local roads, improving parks, and conserving greenspace to uphold the township's excellence. In addition to his role on the Township Board, Scott serves as Chief Deputy County Clerk in Ingham County. He assists in providing access to vital records, managing business filings, and overseeing county elections. Scott holds three Bachelor's degrees from Michigan State University and has resided in Meridian Township for 13 years with his wife Stephanie, who is a French teacher, and their two sons, Charlie and Oliver.
