Zachary Perry

Zachary Perry is running for Georgia State Senate district 46 to fight for the rights of workers, criminal justice reform, reproductive rights, affordable housing, and healthcare reform. A long time resident of Athens and service industry employee, he has seen the inequality that forces some Georgia families to struggle to survive while a select few benefit from a vibrant state economy. A third year law student at the University of Georgia, he has dedicated his life to a pursuit of helping those who have been ignored or oppressed by their government. Having watched for years as state legislators have ignored the needs of their constituents and fought local governments trying to fill the gap, Zachary is running to be a legislator that actually represents his constituency.
