Julio Salinas

Julio Salinas, son of the RGV and son of an immigrant farm worker, is running to make an RGV that works for ALL– fighting for affordability, labor, and liberty. As a longtime community organizer, capitol staffer, and co-chair of the Texas Democratic Party’s Hispanic Caucus, he is fighting to restore the economic promise of the Rio Grande Valley. Julio is fighting to bring down the cost of living by investing in public education, expanding Medicaid in Texas, and rebuilding trust in the community.
