Bryan Duarte

Dr. Bryan Duarte has spent nearly 20 years in public education, beginning as a substitute teacher in 2008 and going on to teach English and history in traditional, magnet, innovation, and charter schools in three states. Today, as a professor, he prepares school leaders and studies how school choice policies affect marginalized communities. The son of Portuguese immigrants and a survivor of bullying, he wants every IPS school to be safe, supportive, and one families are proud to choose.
