Ashanti Martinez

Ashanti Martinez, a lifelong son of Prince George’s County, grew up in New Carrollton and graduated from Parkdale High School before attending Howard University. From nonprofit advocacy to legislative service, he has dedicated his career to delivering results. As Delegate for District 22, Ashanti fights for affordable housing, fair wages, healthcare access, and green jobs. In 2026, he’s running for re-election to keep championing working families and building a stronger, fairer Maryland.
