Tameka Santiago

Tameka is a proud resident of East Fishkill, where she lives with her husband and three children. She is an Occupational Therapist, with 14 years of experience, working with children and adults with cognitive and/ or physical disabilities. She is also certified in children’s, prenatal, and Hatha yoga.

She is a co-founder of Tots on the Go, a volunteer organization that provides Bronx, Westchester, and Dutchess County families with community resources that aid in the mental and physical growth and development of their children. She serves as the treasurer of the East Fishkill Democratic Committee and she serves on the homeowners association board at Four Corners in East Fishkill. She is also a Eucharistic minister at her church.

Tameka plans to be a voice for the community and a champion for everyone. She has new and innovative ideas to improve quality of life in East Fishkill. She will target infrastructure, affordable and accessible programming for children and seniors, affordable housing, and transparency with policy making.
