Ashley Teague

Ashley is passionate about a number of issues, including mental health. While trying to find assistance for her own mental illness, she discovered that mental health is significantly underfunded across the nation resulting in a lack of healthcare programs and facilities that are critical to those suffering with mental health issues.

Another priority for Ashley is equality for all. She has been extremely active in initiatives that support equality, including organizing and leading a Women's March in Rochester in 2020. She actively supports the Black Lives Matter movement. She seeks to learn more about diversity, equity and inclusion through educational webinars and speakers and participates in rallies, marches and other activities focused on ensuring that everyone is welcome, safe and offered equal opportunities in the community and state. In addition, Ashley supports preserving open space in Webster and creating additional recreational areas for all members of the community to enjoy.
