Melina Hettiaratchi is running for Louisville’s Metro Council because she believes city government should make life easier for working families, not harder. Growing up in Montgomery, Alabama, a city shaped by both deep injustice and historic progress, Melina saw early how policy and power directly impact people’s lives. Louisville families deserve leaders who focus on solutions instead of political posturing and needs to use community input to implement a solution to our affordability crisis.
