Dan Knox

Dan Knox is a public educator and environmental justice advocate running for Port of Tacoma Commissioner. He currently works at Pierce College supporting first-generation students and advancing equity.

Raised in a polluted mill town, Dan is committed to clean energy jobs, tribal partnership, and climate accountability. He’s running to ensure the Port serves the many (not just the well-connected), by expanding union jobs, protecting our environment, and putting community voices at the center.
