Heather Sievers

Heather Sievers is a nurse and community leader running for Iowa House District 40. A lifelong volunteer, Heather served in shelters, assisted at food banks, and provided therapies to children with disabilities. Heather lives in Altoona with her husband and daughter, whose rare disabilities drove her deeper into advocacy. She founded Advocates for Iowa’s Children and was elected to the Heartland AEA Board. She fights for strong public schools, accessible health care, and an end to political extremism.
