Cayla Slaughter

Cayla is 30 years old and works as a pharmacist around Troy, MO area. Cayla was raised outside of Fulton, MO and attended North Callaway High School before attending Mizzou for her undergrad years. She attended pharmacy school in Columbia, MO through the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Cayla is hoping to promote communication from the Board of Alderman to the people and increase community involvement. She thinks the best way to improve our community is to know what the people need directly from the people. Cayla will work for the community by making herself accessible through email, social media, and mail so all members of the community can be in contact. If elected, she hopes to be in constant contact with her constituency to see where they wish to see change. She would like to see a balanced budget that helps direct money toward schools, emergency services, and road services.

Cayla lives in Troy, MO with her husband Dalton, their two cats Picasso and Diomedes, and their dogs Tyr and Boudica.
