Patrick moved to Raleigh 20 years ago to attend NC State and he never looked back. Since then, he established his career as a renewable energy and utility lawyer, married the love of my life Rachael, and served the Raleigh community with a principled progressive approach. He has been an HOA president, a member of the city parks board, and for the past 2.5 years he has been honored to represent North Raleigh as the District A member of City Council.
His work on City Council has focused on issues that make our lives better every day: housing affordability, traffic and transportation, investing in parks and infrastructure, and making government work better for members of our community. We have made great progress, but his experience on City Council has taught him that these challenges need municipal lawmaking experience in the General Assembly. That’s why Patrick is running for the NC Senate in District 13.
