José Magaña

José Magaña is running for re-election to the San José Unified School Board because he believes every student deserves a world-class education, regardless of zip code. A 15-year educator and parent with daughters in SJUSD schools, José has delivered raises for teachers, $1.15 billion for facilities and workforce housing, and partnerships with Stanford and SJSU. As extremist groups target school boards nationwide, José has stood firm, and he's running again to keep fighting for students, not politics.
