Jonathan is a retired military veteran, single father to a special needs child, policy analyst, family law paralegal, award-winning author and filmmaker, and long-time activist for the environment and domestic abuse survivors. Jonathan wrote the Military Anti-Discrimination Act as a graduate student at Harvard University and was integral to helping Congress investigate the Navy's cover up of the Red Hill Fuel Storage Facility leaks. He was recognized at the 9th Annual Whistleblower Summit in 2019 with the Marven/Shaw Pillar Award and vows to continue to call out corruption in Hawaii. Jonathan's top priorities include improving infrastructure, income inequality, housing shortage, and reforming the family court and justice system.
