Nick is a community organizer and policy advocate. He has experience working with Arkansas' rural communities on a wide range of issues, including education, agriculture, environment, economic justice, and social justice. He is running to fight for rural communities and be a voice for the working class and younger generations.
As a city councilmember, Nick led the creation of a veterans memorial, passed budget increases for the library, park, and infrastructure, and put a spotlight on government transparency. He is fighting for a rural agenda to focus on investing in the state’s rural communities. This includes reviving Main Street, universal broadband, reinvesting in public schools, affordable housing, and local food systems. Nick currently works for Arkansas Community Organizations, a non-profit organization focused on organizing low-income and working class people.
