Daniel Andrew Duncan
Daniel grew up in a three-generation household of working class people. His mom worked full time and his dad worked three jobs trying to move their family out of poverty. They managed to set the family on the road to success, which hit a dead end during the financial collapse in 2006, when Dan left grad school to work in food service.
Since then he has lived in Laurens County and worked 50-70+ hours a week trying to get ahead. Daniel knows the struggles of the everyday worker who never gets time with their family and still misses a power bill from time to time. He intends to take that lived experience to Columbia and fight for policies that support the people who keep the state functioning.
