Rigel Robinson

Rigel is the current District 7 Berkeley City Councilmember, representing Southside, Telegraph Avenue, and the UC Berkeley campus. When elected at 22 in 2018 by an entirely student-run campaign, Rigel became the youngest city councilmember in the history of the City of Berkeley. Since then, he has been fighting for progressive values in City Hall, leading our city through the pandemic and ensuring that students and long-time residents alike have a voice at the table.
