Born and raised in Orange County, Christine always knew she wanted to work in education. After earning her bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton and a master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania, Christine began advising and supporting college students. She served in different capacities, from an academic coordinator to an associate dean of students. With a commitment to educational community building, she has experience cultivating and strengthening relationships between local community organizations and colleges.
As the first in her household to go to college, Christine recognizes the importance of paying it forward and the critical role that mentors played in her educational journey. Now a nonprofit leader, Christine continues to empower youth to find their voice and to make a difference in their local communities. As a parent leader in the community, Christine will bring a unique perspective to the board and advocate for public education.
