As an environmental economist and scientist, Jane helps communities across North Carolina safeguard natural resources and make smart, long-term investments in infrastructure. Her professional experiences have taught her that we can plan for a sustainable and inclusive future for generations to come. She serves as co-chair of the West Raleigh Community Advocacy Council, bringing attention to proposed land use changes and neighbor needs in District D. Jane is a professor at NC State University and has made a home in Raleigh with her husband Doug and puppy Willow.
