Rebecca Hyland

Rebecca is a former public defender, former high school teacher, Wallingford, CT resident, and most importantly, a mother to her young son, Henry. Rebecca is tired of watching people struggle to thrive, all the while the rich keep getting richer. COVID only widened these disparities, and Rebecca decided now is the time to put her unique skill set to work.

Rebecca believes all people need access to healthcare, education, and economic assistance to thrive. She knows that a reformed juvenile justice system is critical to reducing crime and improving outcomes for children in need. Rebecca will fight for all people so that we can all thrive together!
