Taylor was born and raised in Ohio's 79th district. As the daughter of a union steel worker and utility worker, she is fighting to restore her region's prosperity. She believes the district needs a leader who listens, has fresh ideas that will elevate the district into a new era of fiscal and social growth, and is ready to fight for policies that benefit the people in her district.
Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master's degree in Applied Politics from The Ray C. Bliss Institute at The University of Akron. She is currently working as a full-time substitute teacher.
