Phoebe is a mother, teacher, and small business owner from Brookfield, CT, running for State Representative in the 107th district. This area has been newly redistricted to include Brookfield, Bethel, and Newtown. She is running for a seat that has been generationally held by Republicans for almost 50 years. Holmes graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B.A. in Political Science. She has worked on many local and national campaigns over the years. She went on to receive her Master's degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport. She taught in Newtown, CT schools. Phoebe is a commissioner on the Brookfield Zoning Commission.
It has been a lifelong dream of hers to serve others, and to become a public servant in a political capacity. Phoebe cares about many issues facing our community. She is an advocate for common sense gun legislation, women's rights, healthcare, and the environment. She is a social justice warrior, who fiercely advocates for others -- especially people who are marginalized and people who need her help.
Phoebe lives on a small hobby farm with her husband and young son. They own a renovations and home improvement business. She is part of a working family who will represent other working families. She will stand up for justice and fight for you!
