Blade Kline

Blade, a York County native with strong ties to York City, holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and will complete a master’s degree in public policy and administration in May 2023. He served as the youngest councilperson and sole Democrat in Yorkana Borough for four years. Additionally, Blade is a member of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee and currently works as a Research Analyst for the Pennsylvania House Democratic Transportation Committee. With a lifelong commitment to public service, Blade understands the importance of government working for its constituents.

Blade's candidacy for York City Council is driven by his desire to continue making a difference in the community. If elected, he will advocate for transparency, accountability, public safety, and lower property taxes. Blade plans to serve as a liaison between council and other elected officials and be a resource for city residents. He is ready to begin serving his community from day one.
