Drew is a public policy professional and AmeriCorps national service alum running for City Council in Ward 2 of Overland Park, Kansas. As a new father, he understands the importance of policies that generate opportunities for the community. Drew's vision for Overland Park involves building on its strengths, including access to quality schools, parks, amenities, and jobs, and promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for families to raise their children.

Drew earned his degree in political science and communication from William Jewell College, where he was twice named Male Athlete of the Year for his performance on the NCAA Division II baseball team. He fulfilled his year of national service with City Year in Washington, DC, working in a 4th-grade math classroom in a historically disadvantaged neighborhood. Drew's public policy career began with the nation's largest trade association for the trucking industry, and he now works at Burns & McDonnell, a leading engineering and construction firm, where he focuses on infrastructure policy for some of the state and region's largest transportation and water projects. Drew's extensive experience in infrastructure policy and national service experience make him well-suited to advance Overland Park's sustainability, economic development, and quality of life goals.
