Alex Christy

Alex has dedicated his career to uplifting students and advocating for public education. He is currently an interim school board member and has experience managing an inclusive, in-school program in one of the largest public-school districts in the country. He also works in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, advocating for local issues and public schools. Alex is running to represent Region 1 in the West Chester Area School District in Chester County, PA, where he is an alum and has deep roots in the community. He is committed to ensuring that all students have a voice, supporting teachers and staff, and collaborating with families and community members to create an inclusive and welcoming district for everyone.

Alex is passionate about improving mental health resources for students, teachers, and staff, and is vocal about banning assault weapons and advocating for stricter gun legislation to combat the threat of gun violence in schools.
