Dexter McCoy

Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy has served as the youngest Fort Bend County Commissioner since 2023. Raised in Mission Bend, he learned resilience and service early. He served in the Obama Administration and as a leader in Fort Bend ISD, supporting students and teachers. As a commissioner, he passed paid parental leave and expanded internet access and community investment across his district. Now he’s running for County Judge to guide growth, improve infrastructure, and expand opportunity for all.
