Having served on the Planning Board for a remarkable ten years, including two terms as chair, Catherine has established themselves as a seasoned expert in their field. Notably, they have also co-chaired a taskforce responsible for guiding the production of Carrboro's new comprehensive plan, Carrboro Connects.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to secure safe and affordable housing for every individual in Carrboro, Catherine is currently pursuing election to the Town Council. Their goal is to ensure the seamless implementation of the comprehensive plan and to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all residents. Additionally, Catherine is a staunch advocate for addressing pressing concerns such as climate change and racial inequity.
