Jace Cotton

Jace is a seasoned progressive organizer who has an impressive background as a former public K-12 paraeducator and pandemic grocery worker. Currently, he is running for Bellingham City Council, leveraging his extensive experience to make a positive impact on the community. Jace's notable achievements include his instrumental role in securing more than $100 million in critical childcare funding and successfully flipping seats from red to blue in Whatcom County.

His primary focus is resolving the pressing issue of the cost-of-living crisis, with a particular emphasis on housing. If elected, Jace will bring a unique perspective to the council as the only renter among its members. Additionally, his election will mark a historic moment for the city as he will become the first openly gay elected representative.
