An Iowan by choice twice over, Elinor is seeking reelection to this seat due to their deep-rooted skills and relationships in the community. Recognizing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, she is committed to serving and making a difference where it matters most.

Throughout their endeavors, Elinor has forged profound connections with various organizations, including the South District Neighborhood Association, The Iowa City Community Theatre, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Volunteer Services, The League of Women Voters of Johnson County, Cornell College, and The Quire of Eastern Iowa. These engagements have not only allowed her to cultivate meaningful relationships, but also to gain a deep understanding of the community's needs and aspirations.

Driven by an unwavering passion, Elinor aspires to dedicate their life to advocate for a government that prioritizes the collective, long-term welfare of people and the environment. This desire extends not only to their beloved Iowa, but also to the interconnectedness which links all individuals through family, community, economy, and countless other factors.
