Anthony is a civic-minded individual hailing from the Bronx, NY and raised in Stratford, CT. His parents migrated to the United States from Ghana, West Africa, instilling in him a strong sense of cultural heritage and community engagement. With a degree in political science from Western Connecticut State University and currently pursuing his master's in public administration with a specialization in urban development and sustainability from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College, Anthony blends his passion for politics with a keen interest in making a positive impact on his surroundings.

Throughout his career, Anthony has actively participated in various roles that underscore his commitment to public service. He has interned for notable institutions such as the City of Bridgeport Small Minority and Women Business Enterprise, the Congressman of Connecticut’s First Congressional District, Former Secretary of the State of Connecticut Denise Merrill, and the Connecticut General Assembly as a Senate Intern. These experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of government and policymaking.

In a truly admirable move, Anthony embarked on a service year with AmeriCorps NCCC upon graduating from college during the pandemic. During this time, he dedicated himself to hands-on service in disaster-stricken areas, nature conservation efforts, and urban development projects in states such as Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Missouri.

Currently, Anthony serves as a Congressional Staffer for the Congresswoman representing Connecticut’s Third Congressional District. His role allows him to utilize his diverse skill set and knowledge as he assists with legislative matters and liaises between the Congresswoman and constituents.

Passionate, dedicated, and community-oriented, Anthony continues to make meaningful contributions to the world of public service and leaves a lasting impact on the communities he serves.
