Nadia Farjood

Nadia is a healthcare attorney and advocate who is running for the Grossmont Healthcare District Board (Zone 3) in East San Diego County. With a strong focus on addressing opioid addiction, the fentanyl crisis, and chronic disease, Nadia aims to create a healthier future for the community. One of her key goals is to provide support to the local hospital in order to meet the specific needs of the area.
As an attorney, Nadia's primary area of expertise lies in safeguarding patients' rights. She has extensive experience advising hospitals on issues surrounding environmental and safety regulations, as well as investigating allegations of misconduct within clinical health settings.
Nadia is a San Diego native who attended public schools and went on to study Government and Neurobiology at Harvard. She then received her law degree from Harvard Law School, during which time she became a dedicated advocate for low-income survivors of domestic violence and immigrant youth.
Passionate about public service, Nadia is actively involved in various organizations. She serves on the San Diego County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, as well as on the boards of the San Diego Women's Foundation, the Jewish Family Service of San Diego, and the Tariq Khamisa Foundation for youth peace.
In her personal life, Nadia resides in San Diego with her husband, Raul Campillo, and their two dogs, Kiko and Jojo.
