Cassandra is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others. Her primary focus is on connecting lower income and formerly homeless individuals with affordable housing options. Having been on the frontlines of the homelessness crisis, Cassandra has also made impactful interventions to support survivors of domestic abuse and assisted formerly incarcerated women in rebuilding their lives.

Residing in Vallejo, Cassandra resides in a multi-generational household with her spouse, two children, and also serves as a part-time caregiver for her grandparent, ensuring they age with dignity. The family's home in Vallejo was made possible by the GI Bill, coupled with middle-class incomes secured through good union jobs.

Cassandra takes pride in her military background, hailing from a family with a strong military heritage. Her beloved grandfather was a veteran, and this connection has shaped her values and sense of duty. Originally from San Francisco, Cassandra made the move to Vallejo over thirteen years ago.

Education plays a vital role in Cassandra's professional growth and preparedness. She holds three associate degrees earned from City College of San Francisco: an A.A. in Arts and Humanities, an A.A. in Social Justice, and an A.S. in Behavioral Science. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Economics, Policy, and Law (PEPL) from Mills College.
