Stephen is a professional civil engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech. With a desire to make a positive impact on his community, Stephen made the transition from the private sector to the public sector a few years ago. Currently, he serves as a Plan Review Engineer for Henrico County in the Department of Public Works Construction Division.

Throughout his career, Stephen has been involved in designing various infrastructure projects across the country, ranging from roads and highways to neighborhoods and commercial centers. In his role at Henrico County, he takes on the responsibility of reviewing development plans, capital improvement projects, and conducting field inspections. His thorough evaluations ensure that all projects meet the high standards set by the county.

As Henrico County experiences rapid growth, Stephen believes there is a pressing need to address the associated challenges such as increased car accidents, inadequate environmental management, and a lack of pedestrian infrastructure. Drawing on his extensive experience in civil engineering, Stephen seeks to leverage his expertise to tackle these issues head-on. From addressing everyday concerns like potholes and traffic congestion to tackling larger trends like car dependency and environmental preservation, Stephen's deep understanding of infrastructure development positions him as a valuable asset to Henrico County and its community.
