Delmarina López

Delmarina López, Esq. is a versatile professional with a wide range of expertise in education, law, public service, and entrepreneurship. Born and raised in the vibrant community of Chicopee, López is a proud alumna of Chicopee Public Schools. She is a true trailblazer as a first-generation college graduate, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bay Path University and her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law.

Driven by a steadfast commitment to social justice, Delmarina is deeply dedicated to creating a brighter future for her city. Her passion for community service led her to serve as a City Councilor, representing her own childhood neighborhood of Willimansett. In this role, she actively advocates for the needs and interests of the community she knows so well.

In addition to her public service, Delmarina is the Founder/CEO of Delmarina Lopez Consulting, a consultancy firm supporting small to mid-sized businesses. Through her consulting work, she combines her skills and passion to empower and assist entrepreneurs in achieving their goals.

Delmarina's commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond her professional endeavors. She is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and serves as a board member at the YWCA of Western MA, where she contributes to the organization's mission of promoting equality and empowering women.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Delmarina has received notable honors such as being named an honoree for Latino 30 Under 30 for El Mundo Boston 2022 and being selected for the Business West 40 Under Forty Class of 2023.

With her wealth of experience, dedication to advocacy, and passion for service and equity, Delmarina is poised to bring positive change to Chicopee as its future Mayor.
