Randy is an enthusiastic advocate for the next generation of teachers, parents, and students, seeking a seat on the Berkeley School Board in the Williamsburg-James City County school system. A proud alumnus of Virginia's public schools and a first-generation low-income graduate of William & Mary, his lifelong commitment to education and community service shines through.
Having grown up in Hampton Roads and being actively involved in community service as an Eagle Scout and the son of a Navy veteran, Randy has dedicated his life to public service and making a positive impact across the Commonwealth. With valuable experience working for three Delegates and a Governor, he is well-equipped to lead in his community.
Randy firmly believes in good governance and recognizes the importance of providing a high-quality education that empowers the entire community. His key priorities include advocating for higher salaries for teachers and ensuring student success through a range of diverse pre-graduation programs. In his leisure time, he generously volunteers with a local Boy Scout Troop, enjoys playing tennis, and also substitutes as a teacher. Having settled in James City County with his wife Allison, they are both thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to a brighter future for their own children as well as for others within the community through improved education.
