Inspired by her own educational journey, Martha is dedicated to ensuring that all students have equal access to an education that empowers and challenges them to become successful individuals. As a prospective board member, Martha aims to preserve Lakewood schools' strong academic legacy while promoting inclusivity and fostering genuine community involvement.

With over 15 years of valuable experience in K-12 education systems, Martha has developed a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and obstacles that schools and districts encounter. Her expertise spans various areas, including research, policy development, strategic planning, talent management, and stakeholder engagement.

Having lived in different regions across the United States, Martha eventually settled in Lakewood, Ohio, and has developed a deep appreciation for her local community. As a proud parent of a toddler and a newborn, she is personally invested in shaping an educational environment that will benefit her own children and their peers.
