Angelica Salinas

Angelica is a dedicated community leader and advocate who aspires to become a County Commissioner in order to create a prosperous future for all residents of Routt County. With a background in nonprofit executive work, business, and youth development, Angelica brings a wealth of experience to her campaign. Currently, she collaborates closely with local and state elected officials, championing policies that support the workforce, young families, and aging populations. Additionally, Angelica serves on multiple boards, coaches youth sports, and volunteers extensively, earning recognition as a local 20 Under 40 leader in Routt County.

Raised in a third-generation immigrant family, Angelica possesses a deep-rooted empathy for building thriving communities that benefit all individuals. She has witnessed the evolution of her county firsthand and is committed to being a voice for affordable housing, early childhood education, and environmental resilience and sustainability. Angelica's primary goal is to ensure that Routt County remains sustainable for generations to come and a place where everyone can enjoy a quality lifestyle - from living and working to raising a family, starting a business, and retiring.
