Tyler Murphy

Tyler Murphy is a high school civics, government, and history teacher who is passionate about public education from the classroom to the boardroom. As Chair of the Fayette County School Board, he has supported expanded investments in student achievement, leading to academic growth; better pay for teachers and staff; paid parental leave; strengthened community partnerships; and advocacy centered on protecting the voice of the local community in decisions impacting students and schools.
