Mikah Dyer

Mikah is a passionate advocate for student representation and educational reform, currently running for a position on the Peoria Unified School Board. Being a product of the Peoria Unified School District, Mikah offers a fresh perspective as a current student and future educator. His goal is to drive positive change within the district by prioritizing education, community engagement, and equity. Throughout his educational journey in PUSD, from kindergarten to present, Mikah has witnessed firsthand the obstacles and opportunities students face on a daily basis, fueling his dedication to empowering student voices. With a history of community involvement, such as chairing the Peoria Youth Advisory Board, acting as the Youth Liaison for the city council, and founding a school club focused on civic engagement, Mikah has built strong relationships with peers, leaders, and educators. These experiences have equipped him with valuable insights into the district's needs and potential for growth.
