Jordan Lopez

Jordan is a lifelong resident of East Charlotte and brings his deep-rooted love for his city to his role as the Representative for District 112. Raised by a mother who instilled in him the values of compassion, honesty, and hard work, Jordan is dedicated to serving the community that shaped him. Jordan received his education in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where he discovered his passion for public service. He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University, graduating with honors.

In addition to his academic achievements, Jordan is actively involved in his community. He serves as a Board of Director member for CharlotteEAST, an advocacy group, and has made significant contributions as the former Chair of the Black Political Caucus' Get-Out-The-Vote Committee. Jordan's commitment to making a positive impact on his community has also been recognized by being selected as a recipient of the "Future Leaders of Charlotte" award in the Elevate Lifestyle 30 under 30 list for 2023.

With his extensive educational background and proven dedication to community service, Jordan is well-equipped to represent the interests of District 112 and work towards a vibrant and inclusive Charlotte for all residents.
