Quemars, a native of La Cañada Flintridge, has been actively involved in his community from a young age, dedicating his time to volunteering with esteemed organizations such as the YMCA. Following his high school graduation, Quemars pursued his passion for fairness and equality by attending the UCLA School of Law, where he specialized in constitutional law. Notably, he made history as the first Muslim editor-in-chief of the UCLA Law Review.

Throughout his career as an attorney, Quemars has committed himself to public service, focusing on advocacy and education. Leveraging his extensive knowledge of constitutional law, he has provided invaluable assistance to electoral campaigns, safeguarded the right to vote, and championed individual freedoms. Furthermore, Quemars has collaborated with local conservation groups to protect the environment, our cherished parks, and promote clean air quality.

In addition to his legal endeavors, Quemars has also contributed to the education sector as a substitute teacher at LCUSD. Now, he seeks to spearhead positive change in his hometown. Recognizing the need for a revitalized city government, Quemars aims to address the challenges facing La Cañada Flintridge. He firmly believes that the prevailing stagnation has resulted in lawsuits, an escalating cost of living, particularly impacting the younger and more senior members of the community, and a concerning misallocation of resources.

If elected, Quemars pledges to prioritize transparency and accountability within city government, enhance housing affordability, and meticulously safeguard the environment, ensuring that residents can enjoy optimal health and prosperity. Driven by his unwavering commitment to his constituents, Quemars is determined to serve as an advocate for positive change, preserving the unique essence of La Cañada Flintridge.
