Dr.Mandelbaum is a public health researcher and candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives. She is running to represent Portsmouth Ward 1 and the Town of Newington, with a focus on community involvement and public health. Driven by her belief in the power of local engagement, Jennifer aims to use her background in public health to make a positive impact on the Seacoast and throughout New Hampshire.

As a member of the Portsmouth Public Library's Board of Trustees, Jennifer actively promotes the library as a hub for community programming and social connection. She has collaborated with nonprofit organization 603 Forward on a community event addressing the housing shortage in New Hampshire, demonstrating her commitment to tackling important issues.

Moreover, as a health policy ambassador for the Society of Behavioral Medicine, Jennifer has been working to build relationships with state lawmakers and their staff members. Through these connections, she aims to advocate for evidence-based decisions on child nutrition policy, leveraging her expertise and research in public health.

Jennifer holds an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University, a master's degree in public health from Yale University, and a PhD in public health from the University of South Carolina.
