Leila Staton

Leila Staton, a mutual aid community organizer and avid volunteer, is running for the Iowa House because she understands that if you don't have a seat at the table, you're on the menu. She believes that the people of House District 54 have been sold out by the legislature, prioritizing corporations over their health and well-being. Leila is running to support public schools, protect family farms, expand health care accessibility and affordability (including OBGYN), and make water quality a priority on the House floor.
