William Naeger

William Naeger is determined to make Topeka a place where anyone can build a happy, healthy, and safe life. He has experience working in mental health, Governor Laura Kelly’s Office, and now as a public defender. As Chair of the Topeka Planning Commission, he advocates for cutting unneeded regulations to make safe housing affordable for working families. He spearheaded the Commission’s successful efforts to outlaw discrimination on the basis of veteran status, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
