Lily Franklin

Lily Franklin grew up in Southwest Virginia and spent the majority of her life there. She graduated from Northside High School and Longwood University and much of her family lives in the region. Now, she is running to ensure it is the best place to raise a family, live, and retire

As a staffer with Delegate Sam Rasoul, Lily learned how to wrestle legislative victories for their community. She assisted in writing legislation resulting in a grant program for local food and farming infrastructure and championed legislation to establish maximum contaminant levels for the cancer-causing & deadly "forever" chemicals in drinking water.

In 2023, Lily came just 183 votes short of flipping this seat. Her narrow loss proved that she can connect with voters across party lines and build a campaign with the momentum to win.
